Acumos Market Place Archival & Few other Proposals/Announcements.
Dear Community,
My association with LF AI & Data foundation from its inceptions days has been a valuable and enriching experience. That being said, it is now time for me to move onto the next phase of my journey.
I have decided to take up another opportunity to advance my career. My last day with Tech M will be June 4th 2021.
Amit Kumar from Tech Mahindra will replace me in Acumos TSC and his alternative will be Prasanna Kulkarni.
Few things I would like to bring it to the community.
- PROPOSED RESOLUTION:
The LF AI & Data Foundation will cease financial support (marketplace support + hosting services) for the Acumos Marketplace and move it into archival state starting Jan 1, 2022. ( It has been static since the Demeter Release, It has become increasingly difficult to get the necessary funding from the foundation).
Please send your email vote to confirm the same, otherwise you discuss the same in the upcoming TSC meeting.
- Proposed Resolution:
Reduce the frequency of the Product committee meeting from every Tuesday 9 AM ET to alternative Tuesday’s 9 AM ET.
Our next TSC meeting is scheduled on Jun 7t,. Since Amit and Prasanna has a conflict on the day, it will be cancelled and will meet on June 21st.
I appreciate and thank you all for your support & guidance over the years.
I may not be able to join the Acumos or LF AI meeting in an official capacity, however I should be able to participate on my personal interest.

Elpis release is due on June end. As of now only Model Management module development is going on.
It would be good if we can cover Acumos later in the sequence of reviews, i.e. could be around Mid August 2021.
