Thanks for posting an example! I have been having a rough time finding some example code.

That said, the build fails (on mac using java 8 update 110 and maven 3.3.9):

I am looking for example code because I am getting an import error when trying to import janusgraph into my own project saying "object janusgraph is not a member of package org"
