Hi Andrew,

This is awesome!
Have you tried it in production yet? :)

Hi Andrew,

Interesting, I did not know Elassandra. Would this help in "automatic" resource allocation between Cassandra and Elastic? We now see people having their JanusGraph transactions dying during bulkloads if the Elastic cluster cannot keep up with indexing of the new data.

Best wishes,     Marc

Hi All,

I added Elassandra support to JanusGraph.

You can download it here: https://github.com/sfproductlabs/jelass

For those who haven't heard of Elassandra, it's a fully integrated cassandra/elastic implementation (tl;dr it stores elastic data in Cassandra like Janus). It's benefits and description are here for those who are new to it:

I've used it in production for years and provides me the read performance I expect of elastic with the write performance of cassandra all under the same roof.

It would be nice to further integrate JanusGraph with it in the future.

If it's interesting to users, I can maybe add some docs to the main repo.

Thanks
Andrew
