Hi Everyone,
Hope everyone is doing well! Just a reminder before the holiday weekend (in the US) that we still need volunteers to staff our Bronze Sponsor booth in Austin, TX for OSS NA. This is a great opportunity to promote the mission of LF AI & Data. Please consider volunteering if you are attending in June! Remember, if we don't get volunteers the booth will remain unstaffed. We’re back in the saddle again! The Linux Foundation's Open Source Summit NA will take place in-person and virtually in Austin, TX from June 21-24. The LF AI & Data Foundation will have a booth as a Bronze Sponsor. You can see all the details on the OSS NA event wiki page. We rely on our LF AI & Data community to staff the sponsorship booth at these events. This is a great opportunity to network while contributing to the community. Please know that if there are no booth staff volunteers for a specific time slot, the booth will remain unstaffed.


STAFFING THE BOOTH

This year, we’re thrilled to have both onsite and virtual booths! All confirmed booth staff will get access to our sponsor booth, be expected to chat with any attendees that visit the booth, and be willing to answer general questions about LF AI & Data and/or any LF AI & Data projects.

BOOTH SCHEDULE

Please note all times are in Central Standard Time (CST, UTC-6). Note: All times are preliminary and subject to change based on the final conference schedule, we will update our Wiki page with booth staffing assignments accordingly.

The onsite booth is scheduled for:

  • Tuesday, June 21: 10:35am – 5:25pm

  • Wednesday, June 22: 10:30am – 7:30pm

  • Thursday, June 23: 10:45am – 3:40pm

The virtual booth is scheduled for:

  • Tuesday, June 21: 8:005am – 5:25pm

  • Wednesday, June 22: 8:00am – 7:30pm 

  • Thursday, June 23: 8:00am – 5:30pm

Please review the time slots here and let us know as soon as possible if you are available to help staff the booth. We require at least two (2) time slots for each volunteer. 

REGISTRATION FOR BOOTH STAFF VOLUNTEERS

All booth staff must be registered for OSS NA with a booth staff pass no later than June7, 2022. Once booth staff are confirmed, we will send out the discount code and instructions on how to register.
